In-Home Studio Styled Session with Pink Backdrop ft. the #LDP2019 Team!
To be woman is empowering.
This is an awesome group of women who have passions and dreams. They go about life with a positive outlook, and are young and beautiful in their own special way. I am so blessed to have had the opportunity to meet them and work with them. This year has flown by so quickly, and I can’t believe these girls will soon be walking down with their class to graduate and take on the world. It feels like just yesterday we were having our very first group styled session in the windy desert. The wind was insane that day, but I remember how these girls were so cooperative and ready to have a good time.
I am so positive that these girls are going to be WORLD CHANGERS! They each have something awesome to offer, and I am more than positive that they are simply making a difference by letting their personalities shine. I know that they have definitely left a permanent mark in my heart that will be with me forever. I thank each of my spokesmodel teams each year for believing in me and my business and for helping me carry out my vision and making it a reality.
My biggest desire for all of these girls is for them to keep pursuing their passions. To never doubt in themselves, and to always keep pushing forward no matter what may come their way. Life is hard sometimes, but it doesn’t mean that we have to let ourselves get defeated. My biggest vision for this styled-shoot was for their beautiful personalities to shine through each image.
Photography is such a beautiful art form, and what I truly love about it is having the ability to make others feel beautiful. Or being able to freeze a small moment in time that can be looked back at a later time and cherished. I hope that these girls are able to look back at their senior year and remember all of the fun we had together. Senior year can be tough, but my goal is to make it as special as possible.
Also, this is my very first time using a backdrop! I purchased this one from Savage. I definitely want to do more sessions with backdrops, I love the idea of eliminating all distracting backgrounds, and focusing on the person in front of the camera. It was definitely more of a challenge for me because I am so used to taking photos outdoors, but it was so much fun! It also comes to show that you can pretty much do this anywhere. This session was done in my mother-in-law’s living room! This will definitely not be the last time I do an in-home studio session.
I hope you enjoy these images and may you also feel encouraged and empowered as you go through each image.
